father-in-law's retirement

Today my father-in-law retired from his career of 34 years.  His workplace threw him a luncheon which we were nicely invited to.  It was great meeting co-workers he has talked about and listening to their speeches about him.  He received some very thoughtful gifts, and gave a great speech.  The food was also delicious, the cake was from Savoia, and it was a great couple hours away from work with family.  Congrats Scottie!
