Mendon goes to the vet

We took Mendon to her first vet visit with us today.  She was such a good girl (except I had to ambush her to get her on the scale - 76 pounds and growing!), and when we were finished and got back in the car, she promptly laid down and closed her eyes.  I guess going to the vet wipes her out!

    Oh goodness, our Chloe hates the vet! She gets really shy and skittish, which tends to translate into "well-behaved" for those that don't know what she's really thinking. She sits PERFECTLY still the whole time, but the opposite of Mendon - when we leave the vet she is NUTS. I think from all the penned up anxiety. Poor thing!

      Aw Chloe! Poor girl! We didn't know what to expect since we had never taken her, but she remained calm, happy to see other dogs and cats, and let the vet do his thing. It cracked me up that she was so tired afterwards! Col has the best pic of her sleeping in the car.
